We thank all the people who have been with us as we started this Library last year(2015). It has been  hard but we hope that most of our work will be fruitful this year-2016.

We owe a lot to the hosting group of young and dedicated men-Shabaa Youth Community in Kisumu, who have been like a mentor to us and of great assistance in all aspects. We also thank the IUCN-EASARO for the support they gave to the Library to provide environmental knowledge to the community.

We are planning to kick start a program of upgrading the library to, having a new space the former space was relocated by the constraction of Kisumu Busia Higway expantion project. The current site is small.

​

This Activity dubbed Library Beyond Borders will work hard to improving the library by

​

1. Finding a way to construct a more spacious library using locally available materials.

2. Upgrading and or purchasing of more computers that are cuurent in speed and applications.

3. Introducing internet access to our library.

4. Initiating a sustainable Income to fund most of our expenses
